Review: Atmosphere Bar Club

It’s summer in other parts of the world. That means friends from those places take their annual leaves for hometown visits. That also means it’s time for reunions.

High school friends who are already based in Norway and Qatar spend their summer breaks in Bohol. And of course, their vacation will never be complete without the tapoktapok. So, they contacted Christine, another high school friend who has spent almost her entire life in Tagbilaran City. Christine then reserved us a VIP KTV room in Atmosphere Bar Club, making her an instant party organizer.

Christine and I went to the place fifteen minutes before the scheduled reservation time, but the receptionist let us in, so we had time to sing our own favorites while the singer crowd wasn’t still there. (And a time for a groufie)

Physical

The room was huge that it can accommodate a party of up to 60 persons who enjoy playing billiards, singing, sipping champagne, or just watching a cable channel. I was with my 7-year-old kiddo when I went to the event, and the carpeted floor had become his bed. And I was so glad that the room was soundproof that his screams during a meltdown weren’t heard outside.

Staff

Everything went smoothly. It was indeed a night I will never forget. For what could beat a night of frozen margaritas, chilled beers, ice-cold tequilas, unlimited chats, and contagious laughter shared with your good friends? Plus, the bar ambiance has also added warmth to our smiles. And the young and good-looking waiter was very welcoming, keeping a shy beam each time he serves us food or drinks.

Imagine, you have a billiard table, a KTV set, and a flat-screen cable TV (aside from the one used in the KTV corner) in your room. And remember, it was not just a room. It was a VIP room. If you’re from Makati, you would be willing to shell out a thousand peso for an hour. But my eyes grew wide when I learned that its hourly rate is cheaper than a BFF bundle. (Special thanks to Bermalou for the treat. Yey!)

There you go! So the next time you plan on throwing an informal party, you know where to go. Just make sure to bring your friends along to have a guaranteed fun-filled night.

P.S. Thanks to Christine for those awesome photos.

Say something. Leave a trail.
